sidplay2/w updated!

Post by skitz »

Just noticed that an update to Sidplay2/W was released yesterday (http://www.gsldata.se/c64/spw/).

Not quite sure yet what the emulation improvements are...

Cheers!

At least your collection is a gold mine for us STIL hunting whores, considering the wast number of covers that yet haven't been credited in STIL. :)

So, where do I post update info for STIL then?

I got one:

Mad/Wheeled_Warriors.sid - Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors by Shuki Levi and Haim Saban!

I've got all the episodes! Used to love that cartoon as a kid! :)

Come on Marcel! Update your tune info - I want to know why you covered "Touch Me by Sam Fox"

Teehee!

You can play "spot the cover" with my directory... There's still a few that haven't got proper STIL information in there...

You send your additions or modifications to Laust on laustbn AT diku DOT dk, but remember to read STIL.faq regarding the syntax. I have a collection of a half dozen additions not yet sent, as I prefer to collect a larger bunch.

Oh God. Don't get me started with 80s cartoons. We'd be here all day......

....so I'll just crowbar it into this little section below. :D

Jayce was one of my faves too along with Thundercats, an obscure cartoon based on the Pole Position game called (amazingly enough) Pole Position, The Mysterious Cities of Gold (what an epic saga that was!), Around The World With Willy Fog (another epic that was a nice animated retelling of the classic Jules Verne novel, Around The World in 80 Days) and many, many more besides.

And that's just foreign cartoons. As for the UK ones, my Lemon64 handle should give a clue as to my favourite.... :) Been busy in the Buy & Sell section so that's a good place to look for my posts.

I can assure you it is much, much more important than that.'

Nah.. it doesn't get more complex than this:

Code: Select all

: /Mad/Wheeled_Warriors.sid
: TITLE: Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors [from the cartoon series]
: ARTIST: Shuki Levi & Haim Saban
Notice the leading spaces though, so everything lines up nicely. Since the "code" tag on phpBB seems to cut away leading spaces, I had to format with an extra, bogus colon : at the beginning of each row.
