London or Brighton? Vote here.
I'd prefer London
Although Brighton seemed nice, there's more to see in London
Travel to London is also easier for those of us coming from abroad; however, the bus that Chris had arranged at the last BIT was cool, and made it quite simple for us to get to Brighton.
So I prefer London, but Brigton is quite OK with me

Hi c64 audio folks,
I've voted London, because for us foreigners it's more central.
Btw, the cheap flights fly most of the time @Luton or Gatwick.
I wanted to go last year, but Brighton was just too much of a hassle.
Public Transport in a strange country is very hard to find out, and the train from London to Brighton was more expensive and took more time than flying from Rotterdam/Amsterdam to London. Not even mentioning booking hotels, getting 'back in time' to catch your plane and all that.
Now I have to say that I was *very* jealous seeing all the totally cool footage of BIT @Brighton, it just looked perfect.
I only visited BIT 3 @Gossips, and I tell you honestly, I rather see the next BIT organised in South Africa than @Gossips again.
I called it the batcave. And that even doesn't sound as bad as it was -I mean the club, not the event itself.
(No offence Chris, I really *love* what you're organizing, and I understand that it's a lot of hard work.)
So, London anytime, but please, please let's do it in some decent place.
I'm getting old, you know.
Ta!

Well, I've made it clear Gossips isn't an option ever again, anyway. I've got Mog and Alex Chandon helping out with possible venues, but it still feels far away from getting one.
Given decent air conditioning and size, what's important in a venue?
(for instance, in London)
1) You've heard of it?
2) Central to the city (in London, this would mean inside the circle line)
3) Swanky
4) Others?
What would turn you off coming, and what would turn you on, venuewise?
This is addressed to everybody!
Chris

Well when I was thinking about going BIT Live Brighton last year. I too want it to be in a easy area to get too, but thanks to Chris' help and my desire it was not that hard!
I landed in London from Singapore spend 1 night in London and travelled down to Brighton via Train the following day. To be quite honest the most stressful part was trying to find the bloody hostel, Tomsk knows the story all to well
Then after 2 days in Brighton, I return to London and then begin travelling Europe.
