AmigaRemix submission queue

Post by Paul Vanukoff »

An arranger recently inquired the status of his submission. Others may be wondering about theirs also. Just to let those who may be wondering know, I am about a month behind  & there are about 30 remixes in the queue. Rest assured I will get to them in time, I've just been busy (as usual) recently. :)

Are there any brave knights who dare to rescue the lost bunch of helpless amiga-remixes from their prison in the dragon's cave?
The prophecy announces endless darkness if they aren't released soon.

Don't be afraid. Give us the URLs so we can consume your stuff right now :-)
Or load them up to vgmix.com, too.
Besides, Hamburg-Guy, Bock auf ne Collaboration sometime? I lack motivation doing projects all alone... :(

no, i have no remix queued, i just don't really understand what's the problem in releasing a few tunes. in my imagination it must be only a little mouseclick by the webmaster.

don't get me wrong, i have massive respect for all who do such things for the community like setting up and running a dedicated website, but i think of all the effort it takes, putting out some new remixes must be the smallest part...maybe this should be delegated to a group of prelisteners, like it's done at r.k.o. (even if jan has the last word there)...
just to keep it flowing...

ha, i am more of a listener than a real producer, so i think i couldn't play a big part in a collaboration.
but, and this is f***ing cool, i visited your homepage and read that you live in "scenefield" - where i live too.
maybe you are my rarely seen neighbour, who makes those unbelievably loud death-metal-karaoke-parties late at night...
this world is damn small. 8)

WTF? Another Scenefielder on Amigaremix.com! We gotta have some scenish talk sometime. I'm living in "S.Field-Settlement". Can't find any email from you so feel free to contact me via my website if you like.

The thing is, if there are loads of mixes stuck in the queue and no activity for long periods of time, people may think that the site is no longer being maintained and therefore not bother uploading anything. They may also think that nobody cares - after all, some remixers are known to have very fragile egos ;)

I guess people basically like to be kept informed.
