Apple took its boots to Cash Converters so it could afford to launch a new upgrade of Panther. Then it will have the cash to pawn the boots back, and stomp all over Micro$oft...

Apple has about $4bn in cash reserves. It might not be Microsoft, but I hardly think it's in any financial trouble. Ironically, though, the iPod and iTMS are now used by more Windows users than Mac ones.
