Yeah, the remix is of course a kind of extrapolation from the original - "drums on SID" if you like. I usually give remixes more of a personal touch, but in this case I didn't feel like there was a lot to be changed/added to the original, except making it longer and supporting the exisiting tracks (imho, it is one of the few SIDs that really begs for this kind of treatment). If this genre is unfit for R:K:O I fully respect it, and I'm happy there are alternative places to get exposure, like this forum. :)
stryyker - yes, the arpeggios were taken from the real tune.
Larsec - thanks for enlightening me. :)

That was indeed the reason.Chris Abbott wrote:It sounds like SID + drums + shadowed melody tracks (i.e. played over the top of the SID with different instruments): and apart from the rhythm, there are no melodic tracks which weren't in the SID.
I'm not saying that's why it was rejected, but that sounds the case to me.
Quality example of the genre though.

Lagerfeldt - the song is in ogg vorbis format. it's an audio format superior to mp3, but sadly not every player supports it. my isp wont let me upload mp3 files anyway.
winamp plays .ogg files ( http://www.winamp.com/ )
and there's more about ogg vorbis here: http://www.vorbis.com/
