I couldn't resist to test a new toy of a friend of mine and how it performs with a real forum.
He just made a storagesite for avatars and other pictures. Very limited space (500kb),
alpha-status, but nice for such nonsense like this :
Yepp, I'm waiting for HL2.
If you are interested (it's a german site):

P.S.: Bad quality of photo is due to a cheap webcam. Was a quick & dirty joke, shot in the midst of a Counter-Strike or Day Of Defeat session.
Sorry! Shameless plug for experimental avatar storage

I typed BBCode:
[ img ] http://eimages.wurfaxt.de/a58bcc329b408f8b [ /img ]
(just take away the space fore and after img & /img)
There is a code section on eImages where you can copy the link readily to be used in forums.
I had a talk with the guy behind eImages and he plans to do an english translation of the site plus a sort of premium-service which gives you more space for pics for a price. Could be interesting for people in forums, auctions & the like.
Oh, and I just realized that the picture is somehow protected from being rightclicked&saved in my browser.
