Waz: interesting conflict of interests

Post by tas »

Saturday sees Doncaster Rovers plays Man City, with both sides promising to put out a first team. Be interesting to see just how far we've come and how we can cope with what has promised to be a full line up from premiership man city.

Well, 1-1, not bad for you at all that, and we didn't have a completely full stength side, although most of them are going to be first teamers.

By all accounts, nice goal from should-be-England-international Shaun Wright-Phillips for the equaliser, though!

Well only James and Anelka didn't play by all accounts. The rest Mcmanaman, fowler, phillips, mills, etc played.

our team consisted of a mix of first teamers/fringe players and a couple of trialists.

It was an even game, with both sides having chances to extend their lead. Wouldn't have thought there were a 2 division gap between us and you :)

Now, judging on the performance you lot are either gonna struggle next season or we are in for another good season!
