The Human Race Tune 5

Post by Romeo Knight »

Hi folks,

straight outta Kärnten I found out that my 3rd remix is online:

http://remix.kwed.org/download.php/2334

This time a tune that really never has been done before (at least at remix64)

Have good time!

Yeah, it rocks. It goes without saying really. :D

It's good to see somebody trying a Human Race tune other than subtune 4. This is one of my favorites from that, so cool.
Great, another set of strings ruined...

That's what I think! Somewhat disappointing :(
Seems like people don't appreciate live playing/sounding in modern productions anymore and instead keep giving comments like "what a crap" or "stop fooling with ac/dc". Bad world

That's odd: when you don't have live playing, they complain about that too. Let's face it, the audience just love to complain...

Screw 'em I say. No taste some people.

Have to ask that guy who made the AC/DC comment if he's ever heard them? The remix sounds nothing like any AC/DC song I ever heard. Ah, what the hell, maybe he's just deaf.

Well, he referred to the end of the song, where I had to put in the wellknown "Thunderstruck"-riff. I HAD to do it cos when recording the Human Race lead guitar tracks I realized that this AC/DC-riff uses exactly the same playing technique with a few more different notes in it.
Someone may hate this gimmick or not, it does not make the remix shitty.
Period.

The next remixes with such gimmicks already in working progress....

Original

This is almost what I have imagined.
You chosen the right format for this!

The ACDC stuff is just a topping and is great!

Many of the oldest of Rob's tunes are rock metal in disguise I think.

Now go for /Future_Freak/Cooperation_Demo.sid
and
/Future_Freak/Rocky_Star.sid

Rocky ocky STAR!!!

Great work Romeo Knight

Thanx a lot, Rambones!

I just listened to both Future Freak-Songs and must say, they're solid work but to me they have nothing special. Just some average sid-tunes.
I'm sorry.

But I also listened to some of the BOV-tunes, like wazzaw suggested. ( http://users.dhp.com/~shark/BOV ) I really like the man who's called shogoon, he did some really amazing sids! Too bad that I don't know them from the past....

Future Freak average ? :-)

I can tell you, Cooperation Demo still holds the record, as the most used
intro music ever.

The Wanderer Group was the first to use it on their cracks, after the demo was out, and it was then used for more than 12 months by many cracks.

I cant stop from asking about this: Will there be a new version of
Cream of the Earth !???

If you say this. I would have used another tune in my intro....now you can beat me up!

I don't know. Hopefully someone does one for AMIGA-Remix?
At the moment I don't feel much lust for remixing my own old tunes.
But that's not my last word.

I know it's an old thread but I've only just downloaded the track from RKO...

It's absolutely fantastic! Great job Romeo - big AC/DC fan myself and I loved the end riff - it works brilliantly and I think there's definitely something special about SID arrangements played live - I guess that's why PPOT's stuff appeals to me so much as well.

Keep up the great work - loved all your other stuff as well. 8)
