Games Convention / Opening concert

Post by Rafael Dyll »

Just returned from Leipzig in Germany from the GC. great show, 4 huge halls with new games (Resident Evil Outbreak (PS2), Metroid Prime: Echoes, Starfox 2 (NGC), Fable (Xbox), Starship Troopers are just some of my personal highlights! Huge and impressive stands, lots of sun outside and many barely clad girls gave the show a true E3 feeling!

The orchestral concert the day before (opening) had a Turrican medley arranged by Fabian del Priore, Monkey Island title, Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy 6+7, Stalker by Markus Holler and more! Great concert and a very memorable 2 days. And a good opportunity to get that smoking out again. 8)

Not sure, I'm in China right now... I missed everyone to be honest. Huelsbeck, Fabian, Jan Morgenstern, Holler, you. I arrived late for the concert (just in time) and left pretty much right away as I had several hours of driving behind me. I was hoping we'd catch up at the show but we forgot to exchange numbers... damn. And now? BIT?

You still have to eat a trout and buy me a beer (even though I don't drink beer...). LOL!

C ya.

To the tune of Scarborough Fair:

#Are you going to Back in Time Live
#Slaygon, Jan KWED, Kenz and Tas
#There won't be one in 2005
#Marcel, Reyn, Mahoney and Natz

Not bad for only two minutes' effort, without any reference to the original song...
