I'd say that this remix needs some adjustment of the levels of the different sounds.

For the first two minutes the drumbeat is really loud compared to the rest of the sounds, then the lead comes in mixed even higher. Even when playing the remix quite loud I still wonder where the bass is?

Not bad, and you probably did a better job than I would have done

(one thing I did miss - the LENGTH of the tune, it's not quite epic enough, and the ending? could you have done better than a fade?)
