Battle Ships (Sonar Remix)

Post by Lagerfeldt »

Used the two main themes in this almost half tempo remix. :) Battle Ships is personally my favourite by Mark Cooksey.

A whopping 8 Mb, so beware if you're on a slow connection.

Very good, reminded me of the soundtrack from Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy (TV show).

Quite relaxing music. I'd prefer an even more atmospheric/ambient style but it is good as it is (with respect to my taste, of course). I never played or heard the original but I can appreciate this.

Very nice and calm piece... not like a battleship, more like a large sailing ship on open seas... very recommended. :)

Thanx, that's more what I was aiming for, not a real sea battle, more of a majestic piece with some underwater action. :)

Thanks, next year there's an album actually.

I've secured the finances ($4.000 so far but I'm hoping to secure some more) but I still need to clear some of the copyright stuff with all the various original composers which is a bit of a puzzle since not everybody is connected to Chris Abbott.

I won't be making any profit from it since I'll be donating any profit back to Chris/RKO/Remix64 and some to Lemon64 also. It's basically just for fun and so people can have HQ versions mastered at Cutting Room in Sweden on their home systems.

Possibly end of 2005 it should be ready but it all depends on the copyright issues.
