configuring sidamp

Hey all,
I read ifamouses' post on sidamp in winamp, but I can't for the life of me get it to work.

I'm trying to save each channel to disk as a .wav, but when using the mixer, it won't split the channels.

I'm using winamp5.

The mixer has no effect whatever I do
Also, I cant configure sidamp to play stereo - it won't highlight.
The sid tune plays in stereo in deliplayer fine.

OR..........
Has anyone got the original rtype instruments in some useable form they would like to share with me?

Are you using the ReSID engine? The mixer won't work with this, you'll have to use the SidPlay engine.
