Again on quality filter
Hi Paul,
please, do something about it before it's too late.
Some "so called" remixers and or "musicians" should understand that there's a *big* difference between remixing/cover a track and simply "take-the-mod-(maybe-change-some-sample)-convert-it-to-mp3".
Downloading an mp3 of this kind is a big disappointment.
cheers.

I agree totally.
A fine example:
Desert Dream II Remix by V0yager/DarkLight .
The mod rendered to WAV. Add some effects, like stereoexpander, reverb and channel delay. One or two instruments changed, but still lo quality. This is no different from rendering a SID and adding drumloops to it.
In no way do I call this a remix.
Shame on those doing this kind of crap.

Yes ... I know ... it's even easier to do that sort of thing with Amiga music, having access to mods and whatnot ...
I haven't heard back yet on getting it integrated with r64 ... until then I"m going to have to implement a temporary voting/rating system. Remixes with negative marks (such as "this is just a mod -> wav conversion") will need to be removed.
Back to work ...
