Very good editorial! Could've been my own words (except my "unnative" english :wink: ).
It's exactly the reason why I love to get paid for making commercials, not for music.

Very nice editorial indeed! Really made me wan't to be an amateur! :D

It reminds me about the countless statements from my friends and others about the quality of my music. When ever I try to make a piece of music to please the crowd (read: commercial) the result is always poorer than when I make music to please ME! (read: amateur)...

All the music I do, where I don't give a damn about genre, style, age-period and so forth, gives a much better response from people... What is it that make you want to "sound like the others" anyways!? ... dumb isn't it!? :D
