SLAY Radio at Back In Time Live

Hi folks!

The last ever Back In Time Live will take place on September 11 (less than two weeks from now!)
This time around, SLAY Radio will be present, broadcasting the entire event, hosted mainly by the Z Show guys (Boz & Kenz), with a lot of help from the rest of the SLAY Radio staff - Slaygon, Makke, fnordpojk, tassy, Marcel Donné and, ofcourse, the first performance on SLAY Radio by Kwed himself!

Those of you who do not wish to listen to a crappy stream of the SID event/concert of the year, and instead want to meet the old SID heroes in person, and perhaps even the occasional SLAY Radio staffer, should head over to http://www.backintimelive.com/ and pick up a ticket while they're still available!

As usual, none other than Ben Daglish will be the host of the event, and just like last year in Brighton he'll gather the cream of the crop from the C64 scene to perform live with, under the name Stuck In D'80s! And as if that wasn't enough for you to reach for your wallets and book a trip to lovely London, Press Play On Tape will be there! Also there will be a-cappella versions of your favorite C64 tunes, performed by Mahoney's six piece group Visa Röster. If you're still not convinced, Back In Time Live 2004 will most likely be the only place you will see the true faces of a gang that's wrecked havoc in the C64 remix community, the C64mafia!

Any word on the downloadable stream of the SLAY show from BITLive?

Or a DVD with all the performances?

The stream was always supposed to be just that - a stream. It was meant as a "live experience" for those who couldn't be there. So no, no archive of it.

The DVD should be coming out sometime early next year, though.
