OT Just a little help with webshops needed...

Post by Vosla »

Could somebody point me to a site where I can read about making a webshop / downloading some templates?

I found a lot of stuff online but mostly commercial sites.

The problem with free templates:
This future project is for a webshop planned by a non-profit organisation BUT as the word "webshop" suggests there is money involved which will violate ALL terms of free templates I found.

I surely won't have the time to go through SelfPHP and write it myself from scratch and to makes things even more interesting, I have not the slightest idea WHAT is sold there and HOW.
All is lost.

I'd like to help on this if i could, but since i actually paid for a webshop (was quite cheap though) and then the shop was HEAVILY hacked to make it fit to how we needed it to run (Which is permitted with our choice of webshop) and it's still not perfect.

This would be not such a stupid situation if those bureaucracy types would give me either MONEY or enough TIME for it. Well, I have a month left but I doubt I could learn all that sh*t and write my own functional webshop by then.
Greatest fun of all: This is a so called 1-Euro-Job and I can't put it down.

Thanks! :)

I will have a deeper look at that. I was on that site some time ago but misunderstood their terms. Now it's up to the project managers to accept the conditions of that site.

Don't misunderstand me, I want to work but I won't rip my heart out for 160 Euro per month. The charwoman next door makes more money with 16 hrs/month.
