Just a short note to praise Weebl & Bob. Most funny internet cartoon series ever, and they're getting even better all the time.
Anyone know why Weebl is renamed to Wobbl for the DVD release? Copyright issues I reccon?

Yep "Weebl(e)" is a trademark in America. Those egg-shaped little people you can put into houses, planes and cars are called "Weebles" in the States.

That's right. From Weebl's news section (8th December 2004):
For those of you wondering about the name change, it's to do with a certain toy called Weebles and their makers. As a result we can't call it Weebl and Bob just yet, hopefully we will be able to in future.
Still, what matters is the cartoons, eh? The Team Laser Explosion ones are brilliant, an excellent pastiche (I prefer sausage rolls, meself
) of cheesy 60s TV superhero shows.
'Some people believe football is a matter of life and death.
I'm very disappointed with that attitude.
I can assure you it is much, much more important than that.'

Maybe he wrote something about it in his wee blog.

Love the recent "History" series, and "Parallel" simply rocks.

Great stuff - pity our LIVE badger tribute didn't ever get a mention on his site. More of the world NEEDS to see the "Airport Incident".
Well done weebl!

Frankly I didn't.
What episode, and what's it about?

Let me guess... it has something to do with "Dairy Lea"?

Bang on: there was an advertising slogan: Kids will do anything for Dairylea. In the cartoon, Hairy Lee is hypnotising other kids to do his evil bidding...
