Let us know what they're like when you use them. I'm getting seriously tempted to grab one of those plus an adaptor for the Xbox.

I got my sticks today, they look and work really fine like the original Competition Pro. But bad news for those who want to use it on XBox, they don't work with my usb adapter on it :( don't now why...

Do they need special drivers? Like gamepads?

Anyone know if these would work on the C64 emulation (as well as MAME and others ???)

Oh and Matrix....
.........bring on the kempston with base or the Quickshot II Turbo
Quickshot II ? Kempston - weren't they a bit crap ? Sound like spectrum joysticks to me...... :?

I run an original zipstick through a PCB and it performs very sweetly indeed.

When we first got our c64, I've wasted 4 Quickshot II. The Competition Pro that I got a little later kept going, and the very same joystick still works perfectly today - almost 20 years later. :)

Amen Brother! I wasted two Quickshot II's playing Jeff Minters "Defenda" (awesome Defender-clone) on my VIC20. In 1984 I got a Kempston Competition Pro 5000 for it, which I carried on to the C64 and the Amiga. Last I checked it was still working perfectly.

I got mine! I got mine! *frolic*

LOVED the little ribbon they tied around it.

The big test will be Uridium on Vice (heh, sounds like a dodgy 80's series).

Can't wait to give Wizball a whirl with it too.

And IK+

And every other C64 game in the world too.

etc.

:)

*happy*

PLEASE post your experience with this gadget and emulators here!
