Annoying New Chap
Hello all,
I have been into video games and their music for as long as I can remember, so finding this site was a gift. My fave tunes at the moment are the exquisite Firelord Symphonic Remix and any of the Ocean Loader tunes - outstanding!
As I'm new to all this I wondered if any of you veterans could help me out with a couple of things.
1. Does anyone know if the in game music from the Amiga versions of Foundations Waste or Sleepwalker exist anywhere on the net in either their original format or remixed?
2. If not it looks like I will have to compose them myself, in which case can anyone suggest a good piece of composing software for the PC? I can't read or write sheet music, so I need a program that lets you compose in real time using a virtual keyboard or something.
3. Where can I get one of those Avatar pics from
Any help would be much appreciated.
Regards

Interestingly, Foundations Waste will be on a new CD (Atari ST remix CD) pretty sure the Amiga and the ST versions were pretty much same.

if you want to find the music for sleepwalker in its original form.. try these places .. they deal with all the old amiga game mods
http://www.back2roots.org/Music/
http://www.mirsoft.info/gmb/
for music software.. well its a matter of taste.
there are absolutely bloody hundreds of music programs out there... use google to find one.. try out a demo if you like it.. purchase it.. its pretty hit n miss.. i personally use buzz.. but there are plenty of other programs that are better (And worse).. sonar, fruityloops, renoise.. et al.. take a look around
and also welcome to the boards
