Indy Remix? Where has it gone?

I was wondering, where Thomas Detert's indy remix has gone from RKO? I was going to review it with superlatives, but couldn't find it.

it was pulled from RKO. It was judged to be a cover of the film soundtrack rather than a cover of the game.

Actually, Detert later made a public post (on the old Remix64 board) saying that the cover had nothing to do with the C64 SID - it was a contract job[1] for Universal Records/PRO7.

Not much judging involved when the defendant confesses.

[1] And a bloody good one at that. But that doesn't make it a C64 remix.

Does it matter if the website sucks when the music don't

Can you tell me is there much difference between original and mp3 version of that piece. For my taste the mp3 holds something back (well, pretty many of them do

) with my system and haven't heard the original format. Maybe you should put that to downloadable too.
