Dodgy voting on RKO?

Post by Kenz »

I was just browsing through the comments on the current top 10 list (some great new remixes on there BTW) and I noticed a guy called Nettuno seems to have been marking down the tunes you guys are raving about .... !

What IS his malfunction?!

Just ignore him. If he has so much fun with that, he is one poor fellow because it seems he has no other ways of enjoyment.
All is lost.

I just had a look at his voting behaviour. Out of 63 votes he's given out 23 "average" or less votes (only 7 of which are "average" or "bad"), so I don't think he's doing anything dodgy. The guy just seems to have a different taste in music, thassall.

Incidentally, there's no such thing as "dodgy RKO voting" seeing as the votes are pulled over from Remix64.

I would agree that it is possible that he has a different taste in music, but sometimes a troll cannot go by any other name. If he is dodgy voting because he is bored, then I actually feel sorry for him. It's not like it's going to have a devistating effect on the world, so just let him get on with it if that is how he gets his jollies.

Different - as in NO taste .... ;)

He may not have been trolling, I just thought I'd mention it after checking out the current top ten. Tis not a problem. Back to your lives, citizens!

A couple sprang to mind which may have prompted Kenz in the first place:

http://www.remix64.com/?tune=269200
http://www.remix64.com/?tune=270500

However, as Neil and Jan have mentioned, his voting is strict but consistent. He may be a SID purist, he might have a completely different taste musically to most of us, but those and his votes are his choices and we should respect those.

Be interested to hear more why he didn't like certain mixes most of us are raving about: might give us a better understanding?

Yep, that's what prompted my post - I saw all these happy red and orange smily faces and then there always seemed to be one BLEEURGH green one from him. I thought I'd mention it as he gave no reason for his bad voting.
