Beyond works as a traffic statistics officer in Tokyo. He's the guy that stands on the sidewalk counting cars as they pass by. They would've used a machine but Beyond was bargin at the price.

LMan is an abbreviation of "Large Man" which doesn't correspond to his actual height (actually he is something around 1.30m) but to a special body part which is quite hinderous if LMan ever tries to jog but made him a good buddy of Lex.
