Ninja Medley Type Thing!

Post by M.A.F »

Well thought out Sonic! :) You have the bits I remmember from the games well put together in your mix.Good work! :)

Although the reverb on the snare/clap type sounds are a little short for my liking, maybe thats just me!!!

Good work though lad and I cant wait for the result of the final tune, all mixed together! :D

Ok........

Post by Sonic Wanderer »

Hmmm...... I'm now leaning towards making just a LN1 medley in genuine 80's style instead of spanning over all three games. Waddayathink?? :?:

It just feels too damn impossible to blend all three games and keep the flow.

Cheers!

Yeah! Too much medley = too little consistency (at least for my taste) :)

Simple solution - make a mix for each game (1,2, remix, 3) in an appropriate style. So, 1 is 80's, 2 is more rock/rap (to suit New York), remix is 90's chillout and 3 is full-on movie soundtrack styleee.

Unless that sounds like too much work

Sounds like a very good plan. :D

Watch out for a full-pledged 80's LN1 medley in a near future!

That plots a good "to-do" list. 8)

Btw. What movie is that from? "I'm a merman, not a mermaid. Mer-MAN!" :?:

Bottoms up!

:!: Because of boredom and inspiration drought I've decided to postpone my LN1 medley, and do something else in the meantime. Maybe some smooth or funky electronica, trance, dance, polka? Who knows. =) :!:

Ooooh, I'd love to hear a Last Ninja polka!

Have you heard Weird Al Yankovic's Bohemian Polka? The whole of Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen, played at polka tempo

I wonder... what kind of tunes we'd be in for if Weird Al decided to join the Remix64 community?

Weird Al mentions the C64 in his song "All about the Pentiums"...

Yeah been there done that Chris! A long time ago.

I know what Mr H is like,I just humour the guy.

The Guestbook on Spooftracks was signed by me when I used to be called "spanner" on Remix64,until Neil kindly allowed me to change the name to my intials M.A.F,so anyone viewing Spooftracks should take note as to my comments about Honorabili.!!!!

It took me a while though to finally suss this guy! In my view (and many others)he is suffering from delusions of granduar(did i spell that correctly?)

In a few emails Mr H has sent me,i get the immpression he is one crust short of an apple pie!

I know I probably should be saying this on Spooftracks guestbook, but it was full tonight! So this was my next stop! :)

...sure a really strange guy with a strange view of the world in general...
i think the word is 'grandeur'...that means you are object to enlarge/blow up your ego until it explodes in a bloody mess or so... :?
kind of sad episode but 'h killed rko' was a classic right from the start.
All is lost.
