SID'80s need a logo

Post by madfiddler »

We're going to have a very small insignificant online presence, but we will need a logo.. A "corporate identity" if you please.

I'm thinking retro, of course, perhaps even incorporating the look of the SID in some way shape or form.

Before I ask if peeps can have a go at designing something, I'm just asking what people think the SID'80s logo should look like.

Cheers,

mark.

Just some farts:
- A bit blocky, in a C64 font, filled with cleary seperated colours (from the C64 palette of course).
- Of course in fake 3D.
- A faint background with tracker commands.
All is lost.

I'd rather see something else than C64 blocky text type.

C64 text type is (obviously) used in almost every C64 related logo, and that's really not necessary IMO.

Why not do something a bit more slick and pro looking, even though the subject is still SID/C64 related.

Coz the SID is low-res pal! Nah, I agree with you. Lego is getting old, unless you do something new to it.

Well, perhaps try using the 6581 as the apostrophe in '80s.

It's got to be slick, but in some way reflect the retro side too. I agree, not blocky! :)
