acoustic simulation
I'm interested in trying some software to simulate the acoustic behavior of my listening room. A visualization of the behavior of sound waves would be nice. I'd like to try out some free software. Links appreciated.
Have you had a look at the convolution reverbs where you can sample acoustic spaces yourself?

Thanks jgb but I'd rather have a simulation based on an semi-accurate model of my room with furniture. I think that's going to be far more useful. But of course I could probably use it for trial and error. But with a model, I expect to see which surfaces are the most problematic ones. Then I can fix them with damping materials.
