Sadly I think I'm going to have to give it a miss this time. Have just had a baby (well, my wife has, but you know what I mean) and Manchester is a bit too far away for me to be comfortable to go.

Shame, I'll really miss seeing SID80s and it would have been great to see Hey! Hey! 16K too.

Hopefully the Northern fanbase will react soon... I'm given to understand there is one!

Friday

Maybe a musician's pissup and rehearsal, we just don't know yet.

Saturday

12pm - turn up, stuff happens: games played, chats had, drinking done. This is the Retrovision bit.

8pm - concert starts. Shit happens. BIT Lite bit.

Next morning

11am - people turn up and play some more. Some more stuff happens. Chilling, chatting and unwinding, plus impromptu live performances on stuff. Just having a larf really.

Out by 11 pm as usual then, or do we finally get to party on after the gig? :D

Actually since it's a club, there might be partying, I think until 1am.

If that's the case, and if you're staying in Manchester, you might find this to be of use: it's the night bus timetable for the 82 going back into Manchester (look at the bottom table):

*laconic hand-waving*

Yo.

Steve (MadHippo) will be along as well, with his significant other. I might be bringing the wifeoid for once, which will be an entertaining experience for all concerned, as her fusion-powered "That's Enough To Drink, Mark" look tends to keep more more sober and compos mentis than you lot are used to seeing me.

Golly. Me able to string a sentence together. Whatever next?

Did you know, last Sunday was "International Bog Day"? To raise awareness of Bog, apparently!
