I usually get it if I go to a metal club and the music is too loud. It usually stops within a few days.
Weirdest thing was that the first time it happened, I thought my tv was borked Took me about half and hour of fiddling with the tv to realise it was me!

I don't want to scare you but what you've experienced there could be a small "ear infarct".
Back in the early 90's I got a "Knalltrauma", an ear trauma caused by an ammonition explosion. Doctors weren't so skilled and dismissed it as a minor incident. Now I've lost 50% of my hearing.
Had a choir in my heart and had to kill it to survive.

I guess i shuld go to a doctor, one thing i DO NOT wants to loose is my hearing...
