Any music source code released?

Hi, just wondered if any of the source code has ever been released by some of the big names. Would be interesting to browse through it to see how some of it was done.

I was thinking with all the Emulation technology I'm surprised nobody has written a program that would display the songs in the HVSC visualy ala tracker style ona PC.
