Dark Side of Phobos - The Doom Remix Project

Post by Larsec »

I am a part of a project where we remixed the soundtrack of the original Doom game. The soundtrack turned out rather well in my opinion... If you are into noisy music in the good way you should give it a listen :)

My mix features vocals by Elsa Persson of Visa Rösta and Mahoney is in the background as well.

Enjoy :)

Wow! Nice project!
I started my 3D gaming career with Doom. Pretty impressive gameplay for that time and the music enriched the whole atmosphere (though it was played with a rather nasty midi(?) quality - soundblaster 1.0 or 2.0?).
Quite curious now how your work turns out. :)

Impressive effort! Played it at work and now I'm burning copies for two people ...

It sounded great on my AWE32 (and on the GUS), but those were cheating. ;)

Cheating??
Weren't that two of the first (affordable) musiccards with soundfonts( or whatever they called them)?
