Well its now only 4 weeks to the big day and I have been working my arse off to get my first album done for the show.
Not easy when you have 5 kids Its true.
As a sneak preview here is one of the tracks off the CD.
Overall feeling is that it needs more..... dunno... ambience ? reverb/echo just to space it out a bit more... It sounds good but feels to me like its crying for a dist guitar tune over the top razzing it up.. a bit like what they did to OVERKILL (Theme tune to "The BIll"); the original was good, but some chord based riffs soon set it up a notch.
This tune Wants to feel spacey to me, but just doesnt quite make it - an enjoyable tune for definate, almost Jarre'ish if i dare say that without the long deep swoosh effects. Loved the subtle use of the vocoder.
I'd be adding the sound of waves breaking on the shore..... some deep /low growling strings and a gritty guitar tune over the top.

Matrix thanks for your comments mate, I do agree with you that it needs a little more work and adding some waves breaking on the shore is a cool idea
I forgot to say on the main post that this track isn't quite finished yet, I just wanted to give a sneak preview of one track off the CD .
Well I have worked most of the day on this track to get the finishing touches and hopefully you will like the additions
I have taken on board what some of you have emailed my - Matrix - DJ Skitz etc etc.
The track now has a nice spacey effect begining and as the track progresses you will here nice strings coming in and also lots of space voices and effects
Well hope you like this update and hopefully it's now finished
