Hm, what can I say? I see the potential of two great remixes here.
There are lots of trance elements in this remix, but it's not trance.
If you would change the drums and base and make some "unz unz" I am sure this would be an exellent trance tune, because I love the leads and synths you're using. They just don't fit into the musical style you chose. It is way too quiet for my taste.
You could also go in the other direction, keep the drums and base, but then leave out the synths and change the lead instrument.

Though as it is I would give this the yellow smiley at least

It needs that driving "Unt..Tsss..Unt..Tsss" driving drum... maybe whack up the tempo a tad as well. Love the bass too, has that really nice authentic feel to it.

^... Felt the same with the missing driving rythm... it's a nice tune but imho hasn't quite the Outrun feeling to it.

I love this song...gets better an better each time i play it

Of course Out Run is made for getting the feeling of driving faster, but I love this one anyway
