DVDs delivered - what a f*ck up
Oh, for goodness sake.
They've made disk 1 into a DVD-ROM with a huge IMG file on it.
They've promised that anyone who buys the DVD at the show (there will be a form for people to give their address) will receive a replacement disk 1 (and a new case) ASAP, and they'll pick up the DVDs and repackage them and replace them before I do the preorders.

Ok, they shipped (standard delivery) with another company, so they should be here between 2 and 3 today (3 and 4 CET). I've been told they're on the lorry, and on their way. Honestly, the DVDs arriving an hour before I'm due to leave.... it had to happen that way didn't it?
Panic over... nothing to see here....

Ya gotta be kidding me!
I take it! the replacement DVD #1 will also have the art on the disc too?
WHAT MORONS!
I'm sure you took your copy Chris, to the event and played it anyway?

He did indeed. And the footage looked very nice. Even if the pressing people managed to f*ck up disc 1. Just tried opening the IMG file using DVDShrink on Waz' PC and it played just fine, so until the replacement shows up I'll burn the IMG properly for maximum viewing pleasure on the DVD player/widescreen telly/stereo setup in the living room. Yumyum, can't wait to sit through all of it.tony.rc wrote:Ya gotta be kidding me!
