Well, to play devil's advocate for a minute, how are people who write games supposed to get people to buy them nowadays? People gotta eat. The main irritation about this guy was making it bleeding obvious that he's got no interest in what we do apart from selling his games. And he won't come back, either (would be interesting if he did). So he's just using us, from that standpoint.ifadeo wrote:

Were the games freeware then? I have to admit I reacted more to Jan's interpretation. If that's the case, then.. er... well, it still wasn't C64 related so I should probably delete the thread. Neil, did you see the original thread before I edited it then?tas wrote:Look closely... He's not actually spamming! (he's actually not selling anything)
read very closely.. it's unfortunately a very very poor piss take of Mr Abbott! one of which i refuse to condone...

I thought about doing that very thing when I spotted the original post shortly after its publication. Didn't want to - even though I've got the power to do it, I've never officially been appointed one-who-gets-to-click-the-big-delete-button.Chris Abbott wrote:it still wasn't C64 related so I should probably delete the thread.
