hehe, me too, own everything he's done more or less (missing the 4 disc elements set that was out a few years back).

What did you reckon to Light + Shade?

Also, top 3 oldfield albums?

For me:
Amarok
TSODE
then its a close run thing between TB2 and TB2003.

Light and shade is a bit different isn't it.. too much emphasis on computer generated sounds for my liking but there is some good stuff in there.. Ironically the best for me is the English bonus track "Lakme!", still it way supasses Tr3s Lunas which was very disapointing.

Top 3 albums for me:

1) Amarok (simply genious album)
2) Tubular Bells 2
3) TSODE

Ironically the only set i've missed is Elements, but since it's just a compilation album i'm hardly upset that i havn't got it.

My favourite track on Light is Sunset. Nice, pretty and boppy uplifting track. Shade is pretty hit and miss, probably Lakme there too.

I liked some of tres lunas but it was a bit pants .. one to leave in the collection but rarely play (like the soundtrack to the killing fields).

Anyway, I think we're disturbing the "norms" with our oldfield talk :)

Currently listening to:
Eve Of The War - Jeff Wayne - The War Of The Worlds SACD

Currently listening to Hitman4's background track - would really, really wish that it was something different now... :-)

Otherwise I have been listening to the cult hit "Ulilang Pasko" (ask Chris about THAT one - Sorry, Chris ;) )
