No, you don't need iTunes or an iPod to listen to it - the MP3 is directly available from the show site or via the podcast RSS feed if you prefer to having an irregular dose remixes delivered straight to your speakers. If you're using iTunes click here to go to the subscribtion page.
Please notice that the feed URL has changed!.
Last time I checked there were still a fair amount of people still accessing the old feed, which means that they don't get notified of new episodes coming out. iTunes subscribers who haven’t been automatically moved to the new feed should unsubscribe and re-subscribe using the 1-click iTunes link on the show site.
(Andrew, I have notified Yahoo of the url changes. After doing bugger all to update my listing for four days they had the nerve to ask me to participate in a "how was your case handled?" survey. )

I remember the interlocked Dynamic-Duo logo only too well.
Where did Kermit D Frog come from?

@Tony: When the missus got home from work a few hours later I asked her to say "Synth", so she did. Then I asked her to say "Sample", and she did that. So I asked her to say "Synth Sample", and she stumbled over the words as well. So at least I'm not alone.
Kermit was voiced by a chap by the name of Pat Fergusson. I've had the file sitting on my harddrive for ages, and finally got around to using it.
@Merman: Thanks. Just checked Yahoo's listing for the Take-away, and it still points to the old feed. Which also means that the page doesn't list show 22 onwards. =/
@Vosla: Danke schön. Hope my German pronounciation was comprehensible.

Perhaps I should make it clearer...
1. I clicked on the Feedburner link. http://feeds.feedburner.com/C64Takeaway
2. Then I clicked the little "Add to My Yahoo" icon
3. Then it's added to "My Yahoo"
Episode 23 is showing, but nothing more recent.

It's the entry on podcasts.yahoo.com that's causing me grief, so apparently feedburner is doing a better job at integrating with MyYahoo than Yahoo themselves are.
And episode 23 is the latest one, so all's well at your end.
Hey Jan! Great show! Can you say: "Three witches watch three Swatch watches. Which witch watches which Swatch watch?" *muahahaharrrrr*
Hey, just kidding! All 23 of your shows I've listened to so far were great stuff. And your German is excellent!
I'm looking forward to listening to the remaining 10 shows already waiting here on my hard drive and *hopefully* upcoming stuff!
