Looking for an old Goldrunner remix ... Help!

Post by Kenz »

Hi guys (and gals!)

I'm trying to find an old remix of Goldrunner (by Mantra) - does anyone have the mp3 knocking around on their hard-drive?

Ta!

Kenz.

Is that from that time before the great purge on RKO?
Or does the guy go by another handle? I thought I got everything RKO so far...

Oh, ja! And I would like a copy, too!

It's not listed in the database, so it was likely never on RKO. Maybe on the old c64audio.com?

It's odd that it sounds so familiar...

It might actually be pre RKO - and it might not be classed as a C64 cover (which makes things tricky). I know I've got the mp3 here *somewhere*! But after searching though loads of CD-ROMs to no avail it may be lost in the mist of time ...

I do have a 90% listenable version with only minor CD corruption - perhaps if I post an mp3 it may trigger some memories?

I seem to remember Goldrunner was on the Amiga and ST, even though it used a blatant cover of one of the tunes from the C64 game "The Human Race" (tune #4?). (Or did RH actually provide it...?)

Take a look at http://exotica.fix.no/ and check their site...

FOUND IT!! I remembered it was actually an XM rather than an mp3 and once I'd checked my ported Amiga mod stash I found the bugger. :D

For those of you who were curious about the track, here it is:

Goldrunner '97 (ManTra)

Sorted! :)

Thanks, Kenz!

Funny, that's not the tune I associate with Mantra & Goldrunner, maybe another version?
