jau... sind hier und da noch ein paar wenige Kleinigkeiten zu machen, auch Akustisch , haben für die Ecken schon BASSFALLEN besorgt, was aber2- 3 Wochen dauert (max) und die Gesangskabine braucht auch noch einen akustischen Feinschliff, im Moment klingt sie SCH..... aber haben auch da das Problem erkannt und es wird behoben! Wenn ich aus meinem KRETA Urlaub zurück bin, kommse' ma' rum

Did you make the acoustic design yourself or did you hire someone?
I got pyramidial broad band absorbtion foam from Acoustics First Corp. (had to import it via airtransport, it cost me a f*cking fortune since it's by volume and not weight!), and then fabric coated ceiling clouds in suspension, and finally oddly shaped pyramidial wall deflectors for the back end, all from Acoustics First. So it's basically a L.E.D.E. room which some real nice stereo positioning and acceptable bass control.
For my vocal booth I have bass traps in all corners, and absorbsion/delfectors by Acousign, but it'll never be optimal since it's too small and too square, so mic positioning is extremely important.

I did it myself.. but to be honest in the past i wasn't that much informed about all the acoustic stuff,but fontunatly the guy who did the multicores for us ,has a big recording studio,too, and he gave me some good advice and help!Did you make the acoustic design yourself or did you hire someone?
Both studios (A & B) are " room in room " constructions !
If the doors are closed there's no sound anywhere
The mixing room is completely filled with pyramid broad band absorbers on the walls, a few absorbers are directly on the ceiling over the mixer, diffusors (builded with shelves) are in the back of me and on the left wall ,one Basstrap in the right corner near the big recording-room window !!
The recording-room is almost dead, filled again with absorbers and Basstraps in 2 corners !!

Aren't you worried if it's going to be too dead if there's absorbers almost everywhere? (that's what I understood from your description). Or maybe there isn't foam to the back of you and only a bit in the ceiling ? (better solution IMO)
My control room is Live-End-Dead-End to improve stereo perception, and the slapback is about <25 ms, which is quite effective. I don't like totally dead rooms, it's a bit like putting a sack over your head and wool in your ears.
Also did you do a combfilter test?
