Farbrausch release VSTi
Farbrausch release VSTi

Amazing VSTi (also player library + winamp plugin) that is their softsynth they used in their gobsmacking wee demos - awesome sounds as used in FR08 The product etc etc
Includes singing voice synthesizer too
'tis a bit unwieldy in Renoise unfortunately.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO what a ride'

here's my try with that synth...
http://dafunk.indus3.org/placebo.zip
NOTE: it's a .v2m file, you'll need in_v2m.dll for winamp to be able to listen... (http://www.1337haxorz.de/products.html)
actually, i have more stuff, but will publish it only if someone is interested...
cheers

Ah well, will have to give it a shot anyway when I get the time.
Some VSTi's tend to be buggy in Renoise. For example, Audiorealism's Bass Line 2 tends to reset and go all bonkers.

Yep.. It's a nice plugin indeed.. I've had it for while now... And even if you don't make music for small 64k intro or similar this is THE SHIT
It's quite impressive how they managed to have such a variety of instruments and damn good ones packed into this plugin..
I mean... Try and save the music as a v2m song.. Then you got a song with great sound and a filesize that makes you wonder how that's even possible..
Top Stuff...

If ever there was plugin to base my continuing quest to do the rest of the Desert Dreams music... this is the one :)
In order to select alternative default instruments/presets etc I had to do the preset changing via midi patch change commands, not the preset interface (in my case in Renoise)Romeo Knight wrote:Quite nice! Seems to be a different still solid softsynth.
I'm just experiencing a problem: Whatever preset or MIDI channel I choose, it constantly plays preset No. 1. Neither I get the speech on channel 16 to work. Anyone have an idea?
Thanx Feekz, appreciate it, really! Im really looking forward to hear some v2m stuff from you too!Feekzoid wrote:Sounds amazing - and musically I like too neato.Dafunk wrote:here's my try with that synth...

I'm not using it in Nuendo, I have it installed on a dedicated standalone-synth computer using Chainer as host software, with MIDI receiving from the Nuendo system. If it receives on channel 16, it should play some speech, regardless wich preset is chosen, shouldn't it?DHS wrote:I'll have a try on nuendo as soon as i can.
