Odd music request - beepy Speccy style choon! Help!

Post by Kenz »

Hi guyz,

I have a small request for my next OMAHM show which will be a Speccy 48K music special. I don't suppose one of you talented doods could knock up a short (30 secs max) cover of One Man & His Droid done in Speccy 48K style - I.E. Using just one channel "Beeps!" Well, it could be multichannel I guess, just as long as it sounds like a 48K Speccy!

Cheers!

Kenz.

Christ, Kenz! Spectrum music? Why not just push on a doorbell for an hour and have done with it?

doorbell? think you'll find that was the texas instruments sound of choice, everyone know's the spectrum was that little "ding" noise you get from your microwave :D

Hehe, you guys!

It should be an interesting show as there's some truly great music on the 48K Speccy - it just needs a nerd like me to rummage around to unearth it.

Plus there will be some nice remixes of Speccy tunes (inluding remixes of classic Speccy tunes done on the C64!) and other assorted goodies.

There will be NO 128 AY stuff though - that's for another show coming IN ... THE ... FUTURE ... echoechoecho

kwik snax on the spectrum 128k.. oh my word the title tune was awesome stuff.

also renegade 3, or platoon (which imo sounded better on the spectrum than it did on the c64)

Ahhh, sweet music.... ;)

Sorry Kenz, I'm not raggin' your show or anything - you must've guessed you'd get some teasing for that subject 'round here, though!
