We own two Dachshunds and I have this argument going back and forth with my wife about how "Dachshund" is properly pronounced in German.
So could someone please record me the Phrase saying "Dachshund" in German?

Pronounce "Dachs" exactly like the english "ducks",
and "Hund" basically like "Hunt", just make the "u" sound like in "wound".
Although the term Dachshund is rarely used in germany, the more common term is "Dackel", pronounced "duckl"

Is "Teckel" another way too?

Yes, another term for it, although Dackel is the most common one. Pronounce Teckel like the english word "tackle"
