Ha Merman, I'm always amused by the fact that none of the music you mention is something I've ever heard.
Anyway, here goes: Two cool records by Oldfield which I wouldn't be without
Tubular Bells III
Light and Shade

I watched that when I was eight. My mother said: "Okay Bent, just come in, if you can't sleep, bút this movie is a bit scary".
Holy hell was she right.
I'm on an Oldfield trip at the moment. Tubular Bells {I, II, III, 2003}, Light and Shade, Platinum Collection, etc.

Well, check out
http://www.mjhibbett.net or
http://www.myspace.com/mjhibbett - MJ Hibbett & The Validators played at Back in Time Lite in 2005, on the strength of their Internet hit "Hey Hey 16K" (all about old computers, including the C64). (I know they weren't popular with everyone who attended, but I've seen them three times this year, got all their albums and am going to see them again next month - so I like them!)
Currently listening to - Alanis Morrisette, Hand In My Pocket
