Tickets now on sale

Post by Chris Abbott »

... but I'd like some feedback: are the options confusing? I tried it so you could buy the ticket you liked with one click... but I don't know if people will get it..

Nice! Now my only question is, where do I book your fancy "already-reserved "cheap" accommodations"? :)

I'll put my order through when I get home...

Well, I ordered a ticket in the week with no problems :)

However, I've just had a look at the tickets page to see that the ticket I bought (a BITLive Upgrade) isn't there anymore. :o I paid just over £20 for it through Paypal but there's no other ticket options that match what I paid. Is Chris trying to tell me something?

I did order what I thought was an all-day VIP ticket but I've just seen that the price for that is £35.

Chris, have I got a early VIP ticket and if not, is it possible to cancel what I'd ordered & order again?

Heh, the VIP ticket you bought was classed as an upgrade, but you didn't
order the actual ticket as well. So I deemed the offer "confusing", and changed the VIP ticket to be a standalone option: you making this mistake (and being the first person to order a VIP ticket online) drew my attention to it.

Anyway, since you're kindly running the five-a-side thing, and since it
was my mistake, I decided to let you have your VIP ticket for £20 :)

Now we just need a lot more people ordering tickets...

And telling me if they need the bus from Stansted, because I've
got to book them this week and I still haven't got anyone confirmed
who wants it except the performers and staff at the event.

If you're reading this and are going to BIT Live Brighton, make sure
I know about your needs well in advance!

Well, I'll book a bus ticket from Stansted Firday evening and one back Sunday morning.

Haven't put my order through because I haven't got VISA (I've ordered one, but it might take a couple of weeks to get it), so I'll need to borrow my dads for a bit...if I can talk him into it. ;)

I'll most likely plase my order tonight or tomorrow...

Er, yeah, they're not printed yet. In order to be printed, the Brighton centre needed to know how many to print... and in order for that to happen, we needed to know capacity on the top floor. And for THAT to happen, we had to design the top floor. And for THAT to happen, we needed scale plans of the top floor AND how we were planning to use it.

Anyway, it shouldn't be long now... I guess I'll email everyone
reassuring them that they'll be getting them well before the event.
