C64 Take-away interview on national Danish radio, March 1st

Post by Jan Lund Thomsen »

"Harddisken" on P1 will feature a trimmed down edition of the interview with yours truly that got 'aired' on a podcast in early Janurary. And it comes out on March 1st (ie tomorrow). I've listened to a preview of it and it's all basically all the best bits from the 20 minute original. And just like the original take, it features yours truly yakking about SIDs, remixes and playing a bit of both.

Here's the list of credits on the soundbites that I mailed them earlier:

Rob Hubbard - "Crazy Comets"
Martin Galway - "Rolands Rat Race", performed by Visa Röster
Ben Daglish - "Artura", performed by Makke
Ed Bogas - Murder on the Mississippi
Tim Follin - Ghouls n Ghosts, performed by Nada
Rob Hubbard - Sanxion Loading Tune
Rob Hubbard - Sanxion, performed by Wobbler
Martin Galway - "Comic Bakery" (sfx from the game)
Ben Daglish - Last Ninja 2, performed by Infamous
Rob Hubbard - Sanxion, performed by Wobbler
Ed Bogas - Law of the West

Also, I've got an episode of the Take-away all in the proverbial can, all lined up and ready to be published tomorrow to coincide with the radio airplay. :D

They've put up the page for the segment now:

http://www.dr.dk/P1/harddisken/Udsendel ... 103718.htm

The "Hør indslag" link will play just the interview (requires Windows Media Player or compatible equivalent). If you prefer MP3 the entire March 1st programme can be grabbed from http://www.dr.dk/Podcast/Radio/20060807141710.htm, fast forward to 1:13:50.

I'd post the direct link here, but DR sent me a cease-and-decist last time I linked directly to one of their MP3s. :D
