Aloha!
Once upon a time, I asked remixers to submit their work so I could play them on my show called The Flip Side, which only played original tracks from them.
One of those who submitted stuff was Wobbler. Among the tunes he sent along, was one he called "Kristineberg".
When I started thinking about doing a second, planned, Flip Side, I went through all the material I had gotten up until that point, and stumbled across that track late one night. I imagined being stuck at a train station, waiting for the last train (in vain, since I just missed it), but having good company so it didn't really matter that I missed it... And with that in mind, I put down the lyrics to the song and promptly recorded a version of them in the middle of the night, and then again the day after (which is the version posted here).
I actually didn't even realise I wrote the lyrics in Swedish until -after- I recorded the first version.
Anyhoo, enough rambling... Here's the tune:

Wobbler - Kristineberg
Thank you kindly.the_JinX wrote:Love it slay..
Good thing is, it's out there somewhere on Wobbler's page freely available without my vocals on it. =)the_JinX wrote:But I kinda prefer the non-vocal version myself
Sure. Here's a very crude translation:the_JinX wrote:Could you put a (rough) translation of the vocals online ?
Sitting here enjoying the silent night fading away
Your company makes it the perfect night

Where we go from here, I have no clue
I only know that if you are with me, it does not matter

As in the the land of the dreams, I float above ground
An angel by my side follows my slightes move

Walking on clouds. Go to sleep. Sleep.

Hey Wobbler, if you're reading this: This song is gorgeous! Fantastic mood.
And, hi Slaygon, I like it better with vocals!
Just a little vocal production advice: Before doubling the vocals, try to get it perfect with only one track, and then start piling the additional tracks onto it. I think they feel a bit rushed here - but otherwise they definitely catch the serene mood of the song.

Slay> I still haven't been able to find time to tweak and rearrange. But, it's in the pipe of things-to-do =)
RK> hey, thank you! I must admit that it feels quite good to see you (the author of those great amiga-mods back in the days) sending kudos my way =) I really have no idea of how many hours I spent listening to your stuff in front of my A500...

Btw, the Kristineberg-tune was a song I made when I first got hold of the software Reason in 2001. Here's a few more 'tunes' I made around the same time as the previously mentioned track:
