It's nothing but the (IMO great) title track of the Halo PC-Game.

I second that. It's definately Halo (Xbox, PC, whatever).

Must admit that I did know this because I loved the game on the XBOX.

However, the big clue was in the ID3 tags :)

@Chris: Harr! Harr! Very funny! :x

Strange! I never played that game Halo. Maybe the tune was on a PC Games DVD or something.

Ok, we're moving towards the end, got almost all my MP3s ID3-tagged.

Here's the next one:
http://www.kim-homann.de/temp/excerpt.mp3

Does anyone know this particular Ocean Loader 2 remix?

Halo was one of the biggest games on the XBox..

Anyway, this remix is mine, BIT 2 CDR :) It's not on RKO because the lead doesn't have enough attack, but I still think it's nice!

Thanks!

So the only 3 tunes remaining are Wizball Highscore and Yie-Ar Kung Fu 1+2. Here's the Wizball version with the missing artist tag:

http://www.kim-homann.de/temp/excerpt.mp3

Can anyone help? Who's the arranger of this?

It's Wizball High Score off BIT 3, or at least a beta version. It's by Tonka.

Yes, this seems to be the identical version as on BIT3. Although there it says, Tonka is now called iRiDiUm!?

Why do you remixing guys always have to have to many different names? Chris Abbott = Orpheus? LMan = Goa? DJ Poa = Simona? Trace = PowerTrace = Kent Walldén? etc. etc. Very confusing! :?

However, here's the next one:
http://www.kim-homann.de/temp/excerpt.mp3

Yie-ar Kung Fu, I know, but by who?

Best guess, Bullboy.

Tonka called himself Iridium for a while :)

I myself am also part of Slow Poison, of course. And I'm DJClubthump(headache) which I think I only used on Frogger and Thanatos...

Orpheus is my middle name, however, and sounded more New Age-like. And LMan is also part of the Cheesemakers :)

Ok, your best guess is good enough for me.

EDIT: Good stuff, your old Frogger version! Was also on the Karma 64 data track. When it comes to Thanatos, I prefer Visa Röster's version on "READY. Vocally too" - cannot be beat!

Here's *finally* the last one, then I'll leave you alone with this unknown remix stuff:

Yie-ar Kung Fu 2, a very good version! But who made it?

Marcel Donne, I think. It was a very early precursor to his Sidologie version..

Re: Unknown remix

Post by omoroca »

New problem: I found 4 MIDI files without any title or artist info and cannot figure out what they are.

Does anyone know remixes of what SID the following files might be?

SCHEH1.MID
SCHEH2.MID
SCHEH3.MID
SPIJ.MID

If nobody has an idea, I can upload the files later on.
