This is a similar equivelent to a schnity-wizy-mabob from Teeside England they call it PARMO... Looks revolting i must say.

But the teesiders seem to think it's something special...

Well there is a link I didn't think I see on R64 :D

Despite being a Teesside the whole Parmo thing is lost on me because I'm a vegetarian. However I agree Romeo Knight should be able to do what ever he wants with his schnitzel (within reason of course)

Schnitzel is traditionally tenderized veal coated with breadcrumbs - obviously quite different from the parmo. Of course you can drown both menus in all kinds of stuff - given enough sauces, there won't be much difference after all.

I don't get the references, and Battered Schnitzel looks nice, but I know what I like, and what I like is remixes that sound like the original (if I've heard it) or that have the indefinable "it" factor (if I haven't heard the original).

As to judging? Don't ask me man, I just listen. And I'd like to say to all musicians in this thread, You make 'em, I'll download 'em!

Traditional Schintzel is Pork Strips, pounded thinly and coated in breadcrumbs with some egg and spices.

I make them all the time.

Going back to Topic:

I suggest people look at my Post on the first Page of this thread, it is a great guide line on how to give proper criticism and or review of songs.

It's a good guide, but we are not really talking about reviews.. We are talking about SHOUTS! - It's much of a difference.

Everyone can be more consise with a review but when it comes to shout.. It's a matter of a one sentence affair and it's hard to be constructive or the other extreme in one sentence.

Like in real life.. a shout is what it is..."It's good!", "it's not so good". You can't do much with a shout!

I expect that sentiment will to follow shortly with all sorts of song quotations..

Anyway i won't be dragged into it.. after all it's just another Manic Monday.

BTW, we have a new #1 in the all-time C64Remix charts:
Pro Bmx Simulator by Infamous
http://www.remix64.com/chart.php?platfo ... =0&order=5

I'm just wondering if all those extremely positive votes (including mine) are influenced by this discussion or if that would have happened anyway.

But the tune really is undoubtedly something very, very special, no question. Great work Mr. Infamous! Congratulations!!!

I don't think all of them have been taken into consideration yet... I see 23 odd votes in the graph but the total only states 16...
