C64 midi-interface

Post by westerling »

Hello! Long time no see.

I found a C64 midi-interface the other day and started to think like this:

-Hmmm, can I use this with a midi keyboard and start a program in the C64 which produces SIDsounds when I'm playing the keyboard?

If that is the case then can you please help me name that/those programs?

At the same time I want to say Happy Birthday to Makke!

The trouble is, there are several types of MIDI interface for the C64 and several different programs - and not all interfaces will work with all programs.

For example, the Datel interface I have works with Advanced Music Studio from Rainbird, and usually works with any program that can handle a Passport MIDI interface...

It´s an Acus. I guess I have to test some programs to find a match then.

I wonder where I can find those programs if they can be found at all.
