I've been around some locations before the advent of the new millenia but most of it isn't really thrilling and some is 'classified'.

Maybe I'll get arrested when I ever try to enter the US again...

Lovely place though, Im getting my money together because i really want to go >>>>>> in the world to some of the more remote places (ill probably die but it'll be worth it) to see them before its impossible to do so.

Im only going to be on this planet once better get a good look at it eh.

I loved Japan! I tried to go there again, but me and my wife didn't find enough free time for three weeks there, so we spent two weeks in Australia instead!

Anyway, in Japan, there's loads of nice people approaching you, just for a chat and a nice walk. We got japanese company in almost every town (with different levels of knowledge in English, but always friendly and willing to talk), showing us around and talking about Japan in general.

It feels like a safe place as well, half of the million bikes outside Tokyo central station (where approx 6 million people pass every day) are unlocked :D

And, for us "normal-height" westeners, there's a layer of unused air above all the japanese people for us to breathe in the Tokyo underground.

Japan is highly recommended. I'd love to go there again!

@Pex: I just followed the 'rules' that Trace set in the beginning of the thread, you know. ;)

I aim to extend this list with China and Thailand next year, as it looks now.

I'm too lazy to signup. But I'll say: Denmark, England (London), Germany. I feel culturally empoverished, so I need to travel more...
