Tonka - Belong
Tonka - Belong
Hope I got the title right... Anyway, I heard this on SLAY Radio last night, and it waa totally brilliant! Can anyone (Tonka, for instance tell me where it's from? Can I get it anywhere, or do I have to wait for that Tonka album? It must have really been good to stand out after listening to Reyn Ouwehand playing live for a couple of hours Reyn is a fantastic musician, and I hate that I'm not going to BIT Live. And thanks to Bos for putting together an awesome show!
Now I'm just rambling... Guess I'm still overwhelmed

Its a bloody good tune it is, and should see the light of day somewere somehow or it would be a travesty!.
And ive missed all but 1 bit live (brighton) and i missed half that evening because all of a sudden i thought i was going to die (which is always a nice feeling whilst watching rob hubbard playing a piano im sure you'll agree) but it was still wonderful (adds vinegar to the finger poking hehe).

Yes... actually if you listen to my last BBB show (13 June), you'll hear both Belong AND Reyn Ouwehand playing peoples' requests live, which is an incredible experience in itself...Analog-X wrote:So can I download an Archived Radio show to hear this track?

Reyn for president!
Thanks pfk (and Infamous) for these great comments - it really cheered up my morning to find that people still like this one!
A new version of Belong HAS been ear-marked for a place on my forthcoming album 'Basic' ( http://www.myspace.com/monotronc64 ), with newly recorded vocals by the lovely Elisa Giacomini of 'Reverse Engineering' ( http://www.reverseengineering.org.uk ).
As Chris said, we do have other (bigger?) plans. The damn song just doesn't seem to want to go away, so I guess we'll have to attempt to do something (commercial) with it eventually!
