Dave Raven who hosts one of my favorite radio shows ever - "
The Raven & The Blues" (also available as a podcast at the site) recently mentioned that blues labels have been the only ones to understand the importance of podcast airplay in terms of marketing. So I sent him an email saying that labels like C64Audio gets it as well ... and then forgot all about it.
Until yesterday when I was listening to the
show for week 28. Click the link, fast forward 25 minutes into it, and listen.
What's especially nice about this is that BFBS radio is a worldwide network of FM stations so the show has a large listener base. Haven't seen any noticeable increase in downloads yet - but it still put a big smile on my face.
